Jesse health update

We had a follow up with Dr. McBride for Jesse.  This was to see if he had made any improvements with the Nystatin and probiotics.  What he is looking for is improved functionality.  I have seen improvement.  He is interested in riding his bike, he loves to play outside, and he isn't catching every single cold under the sun.

The ENT recommended that his tonsils be removed ASAP.  However, McBride says that we can monitor him through the next 3 months and see if he continues to show signs of improvement.  He said his tonsils looked about a 3.  Which is a improvement, from our first visit where he said his tonsils were actually so big they were nearly touching.

Things I have to keep track of.  How is he sleeping? Does he snore? Does he wake up often? Is he coughing.

How often is he catching sickness or colds?

What is is functionality during the day? Is he grumpy? Does he have energy and wants to run and play or does he want to ride his bike?

Also he wants to keep track of how well he is learning in school this fall, to show his brain functionality. Because at this age he is developing key hormones for brain function, and learning development.

He said his heart beat was a bit slow for his age, and asked how much exercise he gets.  Really little.  Since he has been sick most of the 4 years of his 5 years of life.

So, I have my work cut out for me to stay on top of all this!
